From Laborer to President
Brett Nielsen, current President of Whitaker Construction, started as a laborer and remained dedicated to our core values. As a result, he was able to work his way up to lead this great company. Laborer
1-3 Years
A laborer will perform crucial tasks, including operating hand tools, cutting, digging, and laying pipe.

Heavy Equip. Operator
1-3 Years
Control heavy equipment to execute tasks efficiently, contributing to the smooth progress of projects.
Pipe Fuser
Install piping systems of all sizes by means of fusion. Modify, inspect, clean, and repair pipes.
Pipe Layer
Dig trenches, lay pipe for sanitary sewers, storm drains, gas utilities, and water mains.

Job Accountant/
Estimator Assistant
Play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial management & provide insight to support successful outcomes.

Foreman
Leads, inspires, and mentors a crew to safely and effectively complete assigned projects on time and on budget.

Project Engineer/
Jr. Estimator
Monitor site work, adhere to schedule deliveries, ensure that construction progresses as scheduled, comply with all legal regulations.

Superintendent
Oversee and manage a project ensuring a positive and productive work environment, needed resources, and quality assurance.

Project Manager/
Estimator
Responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion ultimately delivering successful and timely outcomes.

General Superintendent
Schedule, coordinate, & supervise crews. Inspect progress, equipment, & job sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.

Pre-Construction Manager/Area Manager
Coordinate multiple projects and work as liason between clients, senior leaders, & teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Vice President
Provide strategic leadership to assigned departments and the executive team, and drive operational excellence & profitability.

President
Provide vision, make key decisions, & fosters a culture of excellence, growth, & success for the entire company.
