Lynn Jorgensen

Lynn Jorgensen joined Whitaker Construction in 2011 after earning his degree from Utah State University. He began his career at Whitaker working in the field as a mixer truck driver and laborer, gaining firsthand experience on the crews and projects that build the company's success. Over the years, Lynn has progressed through estimating, project management, and preconstruction leadership roles, helping deliver some of the region's most complex water, wastewater, pipeline, pump station, and heavy civil infrastructure projects. Today, as Vice President of Pre-Construction, he leads Whitaker's preconstruction efforts, partnering with owners, engineers, and project teams to develop innovative solutions and establish successful project outcomes long before construction begins.

What Lynn enjoys most about working at Whitaker is the people and culture. Having spent his entire professional career with the company, he values the relationships built with employees, clients, engineers, and industry partners, as well as the opportunity to solve complex challenges and help build infrastructure that serves communities throughout the West.

Outside of work, Lynn enjoys spending time with family and friends on the water, boating, exploring the outdoors, and mountain biking with his boys, especially on the trails of Southern Utah.

Fun Fact: Lynn got his start in construction while still in high school, building agricultural and residential concrete projects throughout Southern Idaho. More than 25 years later, one of his favorite ways to unwind is slalom skiing at sunset with family and friends.
